Random Post of the Month 2
Hello, well this is the real random Post of the Month, and I hope to make less lengthy than the other one, so let’s start generating ideas. Well, in fact there is something I want to develop and I will put it a little bit different than other posts. So this is the title of the Random Post of the Month 2:
“Our Child’s Day and the inner child within us”
Heheheh, this is not too random as you can expect, but did you really expect I would talk about children’s day? If you are not accustomed to a Mexican celebration, expectation is random. There’re a lot of dates around the world celebrating children’s day. The other date I know is May 5th, Child’s Day in Japan. But this Child’s Day is special for us. Let me explain:
Children’s Day in Mexico is celebrated today, April 30th, and the day after is our Labor Day celebration, so if children’s Day is celebrated on Monday, it’s more probable classes will suspend for that day, and also the day after. So two days of no classes! Also there’s a School Celebration in Elementary Schools. So it is like the Golden Week in Japan, probably…, but for children.
I remember celebrating that day with my classmates at School, and we had a lot of fun doing it. The thing they are celebrating your day is awesome, maybe because of the playing, maybe because of no classes, maybe because of the presents, maybe because it is just another special day you have. It is a special day for children, and they should be enjoying this day too.
Of course, what would happen to those who are not children anymore (teenagers, young adults, other people…) ? Well, even if children’s day is for children, we have a thing called: remembering our inner child. It is very common that April is the month of the children, in our country it looks like most of the commercials have a childish tone, because of this day. And it is very common that we that are not children anymore remember the days when we were children and play with our toys and games.
In the terms of social media, it is common that people put as their main photo a picture of them when they were children. It’s kind of cute, to make a point towards our child and think about life a little bit differently than yesterday.
I have a deep appreciation with my inner child; the one who has no fears to do anything risky, as long as adults don’t scold him because of those actions; the one who can talk to anybody and doesn’t think of what would happen next, that event, being ignored by them or doing things that he doesn’t like it making him cry, but even still he kept trying. That inner child who is kept away when weird situations happen around the body he is into, but released again when the adversity is over. That inner child that comes to you and can have a little play, without sophisticated and memory-based conversations; you don’t need to be nervous to talk to him, because he just wants to play with you.
My inner child is well established, and when we celebrate this day, I would always see him and play with him a little bit, of course that’s in my mind, maybe at morning or before sleeping, a moment of meditation, the time I have to remember my childhood….
And there are most of us of the Nerdy Kind, who, even if we are not children, our actions can seem a little childish, with our games and stuff, Pokemon Cards and other things. That’s not that bad, in fact, that’s cool to have time to spend, if we have time, but we can’t deny our actions and our hobbies, but who cares about it? It’s our personality, our mature topics we might talk, but our childish actions we can do too. I hope you have understood that part, heheheh.
So, if you have time, even if Child’s Day in your country is not this day, remember your childhood days, the good ones, it’s cool to remember, and it’s cool to act as if no mind can stop our objectives in life. Because your inner child can have our knowledge and our mature important decisions, but that child can help us think there are no limits to make our goals happen.
[By this, I would end a year of posting *yay*, around 60 posts, that's good for a year, in about 4 hours, "A Nerd's Adventure" 's first anniversary. There are a lot of things to do from here...]
